I discovered this lovely waterfall quite by surprise while I was kayaking on the Mississippi River near Appleton. Only visible from the water, I had no idea it was there! I took pictures and did a quick sketch and painted this when I got home before I forgot the feelings I had when I found it.
It was painted on cold-pressed 140 lb. watercolour paper and has been matted with a double mat and framed under glass in a natural wood-colored frame.
Framed dimensions are 18 * 22 inches, unframed, 10 by 18 inches.
