Brenda's Art Classes - Drawing, Watercolour Painting and Acrylic Painting Classes
Watercolours for BeginnersWatercolours for the absolute beginner! You will learn all about colour, colour mixing, washes and many watercolour techniques that will be put to use in your first watercolour paintings (similar to the ones shown here.

Water in Watercolour ( Intermediate Class)
You will have the basic skills of washes and brush handling and possibly have taken Brenda's beginners class. In this class you will explore the techniques of painting reflections, moving water, boathouses and buildings and we may also paint birds and flowers found in water.

Brenda teaches all the basics of watercolour painting from supplies and materials, watercolour washes and brushstrokes. Learn how to paint relaxing landscapes, exciting seascapes and portraits with personality. Whatever you want to paint, Brenda can show you how.

Learn acrylic painting on canvas. Brenda will teach you about the basic painting supplies, how to use the different mediums and what each one is designed for, you will learn basic colour mixing, composition, brushstrokes, painting layout and design. She will give you step by step instructions as you learn about values, lighting and focus.
Beginners are most welcome in all her classes, she feels so has so much to give to them!
Learn acrylic painting on canvas. Brenda will teach you about the basic painting supplies, how to use the different mediums and what each one is designed for, you will learn basic colour mixing, composition, brushstrokes, painting layout and design. She will give you step by step instructions as you learn about values, lighting and focus.

Drawing
Brenda teaches classes in drawing. Drawing is the foundation of everything artistic. Yes I can teach you painting if you don't know how to draw but you would need to copy or trace your image from photographs. Learn how to align your hand with your eye so you can draw as your eye follows the outline of a form. Learn the basics of light and shadow. You will be able to use everything you learn here to your paintings. A good drawing in itself is a work of art.
