This is an acrylic painting on a gallery wrapped canvas, framed in a black wood float frame.
The framed size is 26inches * 32 inches.
On a lovely fall morning I left Ottawa with a fellow painter to paint the colours in Gatineau Provincial Park in Quebec. To our dismay, when we got there, the clouds gathered in and there were periods of light rain. The forest became mysterious and the colours more muted giving contrast to the bright reds of the Sumac plants.
