This is an acrylic landscape on canvas set into a black wood float frame. The framed dimensions are 20 inches * 16 inches.
On a beautiful clear winter's day after a big snowfall, I drove the country roads north-west of Ottawa looking for inspiration (which was everywhere). This driveway on 6th Line Road was just spectacular! The shadows from the light coming through the trees and the driveway curving into the trees looked so inviting I had to paint it.
